Amazingly flavorful way to prepare a gyro at home!
Ingredients
0.25 cup olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano, rounded
1 tsp dried rosemary
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
½ roast chicken, skin discarded, meat shredded (about 2 1/4 cups)
1 small red onion, sliced
1 tomato sliced or 8oz cherry tomatoes, halved
16 oz tzatziki sauce (Trader Joe’s is great!)
12 oz package naan bread (four 8-inch pieces) or 4 (8-inch) pocketless pita rounds

In a skillet gently simmer oil, oregano, rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper stirring constantly, until garlic is fragrant but not browned, 1 to 2 minutes. Toss in chicken and stir until warmed through.

Heat bread if desired in toaster oven or oven

Spread some of tzatziki on warm bread and top with chicken and toppings (lettuce, sliced onion, and sliced tomato)
